Senior Application Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Application Consultant with extensive experience in banking technology, private banking, wealth management, enterprise application transformation, and digital banking solutions. The role will be responsible for leading technology initiatives involving application modernization, platform integration, data migration, functional solution design, testing, implementation, and post-production support. Prime Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of banking application transformation, modernization, enhancement, and platform renewal initiatives. Analyse complex business and technology requirements and translate them into functional specifications, solution designs, application workflows, and technical requirements. Provide functional and technology expertise for Temenos Transact (T24), TAP and related banking platforms. Design and support end-to-end workflows covering client onboarding, order placement, trade booking, execution, matching, settlement, portfolio valuation, corporate actions, and client reporting. Lead application integration and data flows between core banking platforms, digital channels, CRM systems, reporting platforms, and downstream applications. Manage legacy-to-new platform data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and implementation activities. Drive SIT, UAT, regression testing, implementation, deployment, go-live and post-go-live support. Lead digital transformation initiatives involving client portals, client servicing, portfolio management, corporate actions, client statements, advice generation, and automated notifications. Develop functional solutions for custody services, trade clearing and settlement, safekeeping, corporate actions, portfolio migrations, and client billing. Support continuous technology improvements, change requests, application enhancements, and business process automation. Perform application impact analysis, issue investigation, defect management, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex application issues. Prepare functional specifications, process flows, requirements documentation, test scenarios, implementation plans, user guides, and technical documentation. Work with technology, business, operations, front-office, project, risk, and change teams to deliver complex banking technology programs. Drive delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring adherence to project governance, risk controls, and delivery standards. Support application training, implementation readiness, operational transition, and post-production stabilization.

Technical / Functional Requirements 16+ years of experience in banking technology, software/application consulting, business analysis, or technology delivery. Strong experience in Private Banking and Wealth Management technology. Extensive functional knowledge of Temenos T24 / Transact and TAP. Strong knowledge of custody, trade processing, clearing & settlement, corporate actions, safekeeping, client onboarding, portfolio management, and client reporting. Experience with digital banking portals, CRM platforms, client servicing applications, and enterprise application integration. Knowledge of TCS BaNCS, Murex, Sophis, MOXO, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Intellimatch and Datascope Select. Strong SQL knowledge with experience in SQL Server, data analysis, reconciliation and data migration. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps (ADO), Visio and enterprise documentation tools. Strong understanding of SDLC, requirements management, application integration, data migration, SIT/UAT, release management and production support. Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments. Strong understanding of banking operations, front-office workflows, client servicing, and regulatory/change management requirements. Proven experience managing global stakeholders and technology delivery across Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, UK and US markets.
