Your tasks
You will execute the delivery of complete automation systems through design, software development, testing, implementation, commissioning, and modification. Your expertise in automation and control system network design will drive innovative solutions.
- Design and develop automation systems including software programming and network architecture to meet project requirements
- Conduct office testing and on-site commissioning to ensure system functionality and reliability
- Modify and troubleshoot electrical control systems and PLCs to resolve faults and optimize performance
- Utilize Schneider/equivalent PLC and SCADA programming skills to develop and implement control solutions
- Analyze complex technical problems and apply creative, hands-on solutions in a dynamic environment
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders using strong verbal, written, and public speaking communication skills
- Independently manage tasks and adapt to changing project needs, including committing to overtime when required
- Use MS Office applications proficiently, especially Word and Excel, to document and report project progress
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned to support operational goals
Requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Instrumentation
- Experience with other PLC and SCADA platforms beyond Schneider
- Extensive experience in the design and manufacture of electrical equipment and control systems
- Knowledge of process control and automated systems
- Experience working in the tunneling industry
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and stakeholder engagement
