chief power engineer

Education:

Bachelor's degree. Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration engineering technology/technician. Electrical and power transmission installation/installer, general. or equivalent experience.

Tasks:

• Identify and document potential environmental and safety problems .
• Investigate reported potential environmental and safety problems.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity .
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• Establish work schedules.
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Provide information for maintenance plans to ensure that maintenance and production objectives are met.
• Co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
• Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Oversee safety of operations.
• Supervisory Experience.
