Job Description :

As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the vision, development, and delivery of a new go-to-market (GTM) product focused on building a robust, scalable data curation pipeline. This pipeline will serve as the backbone for training cutting-edge computer vision models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, business development, and customer success, to ensure the product meets market needs, delivers exceptional value, and aligns with the company's strategic goals.

The work you'll do :

Product Vision and Strategy:

Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a data curation pipeline tailored to computer vision model training.

Ensure alignment with organizational goals and market opportunities, particularly for GTM initiatives.

Stay up to date with trends in data curation, computer vision, and machine learning to inform product strategy.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Act as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.

Partner with business development and sales teams to understand customer pain points and competitive landscapes.

Collaborate with Department of Defense (DoD) research labs, program offices, and other federal organizations to understand their unique needs and ensure the product meets their mission-critical requirements.

Build and maintain relationships with DoD stakeholders and contractors, ensuring alignment with their goals and requirements.

Product Development:

Own the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with the product roadmap.

Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to design and build scalable, efficient, and user-friendly data curation pipelines.

Define and track key product metrics, ensuring the solution delivers measurable value for customers.

Drive continuous improvement by gathering user feedback and iterating on the product.

Go-to-Market Activities:

Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop effective GTM strategies for the data curation pipeline.

Create compelling product messaging, positioning, and collateral to communicate the value of the solution to customers.

Support pre-sales and post-sales efforts by providing product expertise and addressing customer questions.

Government Contracting Knowledge:

Apply knowledge of Department of Defense contract mechanisms, such as OTAs (Other Transaction Authorities), SBIR/STTR programs, IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity) contracts, and procurement processes.

Ensure product development aligns with compliance requirements and standards specific to DoD contracts and funding mechanisms.

Collaborate with legal, procurement, and compliance teams to support government contracting efforts.

Here's what you'll need :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role; preferably in AI, machine learning, or data-centric products.

Strong understanding of computer vision concepts, machine learning workflows, and data curation processes.

Experience in developing and launching GTM products, with a demonstrated ability to drive product success in competitive markets.

Hands-on experience working with data pipelines, metadata management, and data labeling processes.

Familiarity with tools and platforms used in computer vision model training and labeling.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business value.

Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Demonstrated experience working with Department of Defense research labs, program offices, or similar organizations, with a deep understanding of their priorities, challenges, and workflows.

Knowledge of federal and DoD-specific contract mechanisms such as OTAs, CSOs, SBIR/STTR programs, and IDIQ contracts.

Technical background with experience in software development, data engineering, or data science.

Familiarity with security clearance processes and working in classified environments.

Security clearance :

Active Secret security clearance (or higher) is required.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is: $106,300 — $221,100 USD
