CE Truck Driver – Sea Container Transport

Job description

You will transport sea containers on dedicated shuttle and short-haul routes between the major port terminals and various warehouses throughout the Port of Antwerp.

As the majority of your work involves local shuttle runs between warehouses and terminals, you can avoid long motorway traffic jams while keeping your schedule tight, efficient, and predictable.

You will work confidently with the various terminal systems and carefully check all container and seal numbers to ensure everything is correct.

Thanks to flexible departure locations, you can also avoid unnecessary commuting time. In consultation with the planning team, you can start from a strategic location in the port that is most convenient for you.

An average working day is approximately 12 hours. However, if you prefer a better work-life balance, a 4/5 employment arrangement or part-time schedule is absolutely negotiable.

Requirements

• Qualifications: You hold a valid CE driving licence and an up-to-date Code 95 qualification.
• Language skills: You speak and understand Dutch or English well enough to communicate smoothly and effectively.
• Administration: You ensure the accurate and correct handling of CMR consignment notes and terminal documentation.
• Professional attitude: You are a serious, reliable professional who always works in a customer-friendly and presentable manner.
