Procurement Engineer

Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions

Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements

Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns

Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings

ABachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited public university .

2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Previous experience in purchasing mechanical spare parts and maintenance materials .

Good knowledge of mechanical components such as Bearings, Gearboxes, Pumps, Motors, Valves, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Components, Belts & Chains , etc.

Ability to understand technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering drawings .

Experience in RFQs, supplier sourcing, quotations, technical & commercial comparisons, and negotiations .

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel ; ERP experience is a plus.

Good command of English .

Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

Previous experience in Steel Structure / Sheet Metal / Heavy Industry / Manufacturing is a strong advantage.

Candidates residing in Giza or nearby areas are preferred.
