The Product Manager – Senior Specialist is responsible for owning the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a key product area at Zain Cash. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and product performance to identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, and continuous improvement.

The role leads the end-to-end product lifecycle, from customer discovery and problem definition through strategy, prioritization, delivery, launch, measurement, and optimization. The Product Manager – Senior Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that product initiatives deliver measurable customer and business value while remaining aligned with Zain Cash’s strategy, objectives, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Own and continuously evolve the product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for the assigned product area, ensuring alignment with Zain Cash’s strategy and OKRs.

Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, pain points, and evolving expectations through research, feedback, analytics, and product data.

Monitor the market and competitive landscape to identify emerging trends, customer expectations, threats, and opportunities.

Identify opportunities for product differentiation, growth, adoption, engagement, retention, revenue, and operation.

Define, monitor, and manage product KPIs, using data and experimentation to validate assumptions, measure impact, and continuously improve product performance.

Build and prioritize an evidence-based product roadmap, balancing customer value, business impact, strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, risk, dependencies, and effort.

Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and problem definition through delivery, launch, measurement, and continuous optimization.

Lead complex and high-impact product initiatives involving multiple teams, systems, stakeholders, and dependencies.

Develop business cases for significant product investments, considering customer value, business impact, cost, risk, and feasibility.

Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, AI, and digital transformation that create meaningful customer or business value.

Work closely with relevant teams to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, risk, and compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Build strong alignment and collaboration across Design, Engineering, Data, Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Customer Care, Compliance, Risk, and other relevant stakeholders.

Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, priorities, objectives, and measurable outcomes.

Manage product-related dependencies, risks, issues, and trade-offs and facilitate effective decision-making across stakeholders.

Communicate product strategy, roadmap, priorities, progress, and outcomes effectively to technical, business, and senior stakeholders.

Monitor product performance following launch and identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.

Leverage AI tools in day-to-day product management activities, including research, analysis, documentation, ideation, and productivity.

Support and mentor less-experienced Product Managers and contribute to improving Product Management practices and standards across Zain Cash.

Prepare regular product performance reports, dashboards, and management updates as required.

Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and education requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.

5+ years of relevant Product Management experience, with demonstrated ownership of digital products or customer experience.

Proven experience leading complex product initiatives involving multiple teams, stakeholders, systems, and dependencies.

Demonstrated experience managing the full product lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through execution, launch, measurement, and continuous improvement.

Product Management, Agile, or Scrum certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred skills

Strong product strategy, customer discovery, prioritization, and commercial thinking skills.

Strong data and analytical skills, including defining KPIs, analyzing customer behavior and funnels, and using insights to guide product decisions.

Hands-on experience with product analytics and data visualization tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Strong understanding of market research, competitive intelligence, and product differentiation.

Strong understanding of digital products, customer journeys, and digital financial services.

Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments is preferred.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and presentation skills.

Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to operate effectively in environments involving ambiguity, complexity, and a high level of ownership.

Comfortable using AI tools to support research, analysis, ideation, documentation, and productivity.

Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, banking, or digital wallets is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
