JOB DESCRIPTION

The Context & Architectural Mandate

• We are executing a hyperscale digital transformation for a premier multimedia conglomerate, engineering a highly distributed, "Best-of-Breed" enterprise architecture. We have explicitly rejected monolithic, vendor-locked proprietary systems (including Odoo Enterprise). Our operational hub is built entirely on Odoo Community Edition (CE) 18, radically extended through the open-source OCA (Odoo Community Association) ecosystem, and deterministically integrated with Bravo 10 ERP as our immutable financial ledger.
• We operate with mathematical precision. All complex, multi-tiered approval matrices, document lifecycles, and operational state machines must be engineered natively within Odoo CE 18 using OCA frameworks.
• As the Lead Solution Architect, I am looking for a top-tier Odoo Developer who understands that code is liability and architecture is everything. You will be instrumental in deploying our Phase 1 operational pillars: OPEX & Project Budgeting, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Cash Advances/Clearings, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

Core Responsibilities

• OCA Ecosystem Orchestration: Deeply customize, extend, and deploy core OCA modules to satisfy complex media operational requirements. You will work extensively with base_tier_validation (for all multi-level approval matrices), account_budget_oca, hr_expense_advance_clearing, and agreement_legal.
• Native State Machine Engineering: Since we do not use external orchestrators, you will engineer fault-tolerant, native approval workflows directly within Odoo. You will build dynamic, sequence-based routing and automated SLA enforcement using Python expressions and OCA tier validation logic.
• ERP Business Logic Implementation: Translate complex operational requirements into unbreakable ORM logic. You will architect solutions for Zero-Sum budget transfers, strict 3-Way Matching in P2P, and dynamic credit exposure calculations for cash advances.
• Fault-Tolerant Integration: Engineer robust, asynchronous REST APIs (using JSON-2 payloads) to bridge Odoo CE 18 operations with Bravo 10 ERP. You will handle localized VAS (Vietnamese Accounting Standards) transformations and ensure absolute data consistency during the financial handoff.
• Architectural Guardrails & Security: Write bulletproof @api.constrains and @api.depends to prevent database deadlocks, cyclic dependencies, and data pollution. You will strictly enforce Multi-Company cryptographic boundaries and complex Record Rules (Row-Level Security) to isolate sensitive media IP and departmental budgets.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Required Expertise (The Non-Negotiables)

• Python & Odoo Framework: 5+ years of production-grade Python development with deep, demonstrable expertise in the Odoo ORM (v16+ required, CE 18 is a massive advantage).
• OCA Mastery: You must possess a profound understanding of the OCA ecosystem. We do not reinvent the wheel; we leverage, inherit, and extend OCA standards.
• Deep ERP Domain Knowledge: You are not just a coder; you understand enterprise finance. You must have functional knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycles, Analytic Accounting (Cost/Profit Centers), Budget Variance Analysis, and Accounts Payable/Receivable.
• Production-Grade Coding Standards: You write clean, scalable code. You understand the dangers of N+1 query bottlenecks, the necessity of read_group for massive data aggregations, and the importance of JSON serialization for immutable audit logging.
• System Integration: Proven experience building secure, asynchronous webhooks and RESTful APIs connecting Odoo to external financial ledgers.

Nice-To-Haves

• Familiarity with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS Circular 99) and its impact on ERP data structures.
• Experience with Odoo's native OWL (Odoo Web Library) framework for overriding frontend components and building dynamic UI/UX guardrails.
• Previous exposure to the media, broadcasting, or digital distribution sectors.
