Technician – FTTH

Role Objective

Install and maintain FTTH fiber connections while ensuring reliable service, quality workmanship and timely resolution of network faults.

Key Responsibilities

Install FTTH fiber optic cables and customer connections.

Perform fiber splicing and termination where required.

Test and troubleshoot fiber connections and network faults.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.

Resolve customer connectivity issues within required timelines.

Follow technical installation standards and safety procedures.

Maintain accurate records of completed installations and repairs.

Qualifications & Experience

Previous FTTH or fiber optic experience is preferred.

Practical knowledge of fiber installation and troubleshooting.

Ability to perform fiber splicing and termination.

Good understanding of FTTH network infrastructure.

Strong technical and customer service skills.
