Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC site document controller for our client ADNOC Onshore in Abu Dhabi as part of our construction admin team within our oil, gas & new energies business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The key objectives for this role are:

Demonstrates graduate-level understanding of engineering principles, including design methodologies, technical calculations, and industry standards

Capable of comprehending, interpreting, and applying complex technical information relevant to the engineering discipline

Effectively translates engineering theory into practical applications across project tasks and deliverables

Applies standards, processes, and procedures with competence in day-to-day execution of engineering work

Possesses sound understanding of regulatory frameworks and relevant legislation impacting engineering projects

Executes assigned tasks confidently within their engineering discipline, ensuring quality and compliance

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and developments within the discipline

Interprets technical data to suggest optimized design solutions that enhance functionality and cost-efficiency

Recognizes and adheres to internal policies and procedures influencing project and task execution

Prepares clear, accurate, and comprehensive written communications, reports, and documentation

Demonstrates solid general computer literacy with familiarity in specialist engineering software tools

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context

Graduate level of competence in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution

Graduate level of knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation

Graduate level of competence in own discipline in the execution of assigned tasks

Graduate level of knowledge of industry and technology development within discipline area

Ability to comprehend, interpret and prepare applicable technical information and suggest design changes to ensure functional and cost effective results

Demonstrates awareness of policies and procedures that affect specific job assignments

Ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports

Good level of general computer literacy and basic familiarity with some relevant specialist engineering software
