Quotation & Costing Engineer

Your tasks

1). Quotation Preparation and Management Prepare, review, and validate quotations for new products, customer requests, engineering changes, and special projects within the required timeline. 2). Cost Analysis and Estimation Analyze product costs, including raw materials, purchased components, labor, manufacturing processes, tooling, and overhead costs, to ensure accurate cost estimates. 3). Engineering and Manufacturing Evaluation Review drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing requirements to determine production feasibility, process requirements, and potential cost impacts. 4). Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Finance to obtain accurate cost information, validate assumptions, and resolve quotation-related issues. 5). Cost Optimization and Continuous Improvement Identify cost-saving opportunities through material alternatives, process improvements, design optimization, and supplier cost reviews. Improve quotation accuracy, turnaround time, and standard costing methods.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
3. Experience in product costing, quotation preparation, and manufacturing cost analysis.
4. Understanding of labor costing, overhead allocation, scrap rates, tooling, and equipment costs.
5. English Communication Skills: Good proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing, with the ability to communicate effectively with international customers
6. Ability to interpret technical drawings and evaluate manufacturing feasibility.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
9. Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments and manage competing priorities.
10. Leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.
