OILER

Performs routine watch keeping duties in the Engine Room. Adheres with the quality and safety management policies of the company. Assists the Engineer on Watch in the maintenance work. Carrying out maintenance work and other duties under the direction of the Chief Engineer. Cleans suction strainers and filters used in daily operations. Assists in the transfer operations of bilge water, fuel oil and in ballasting and de-ballasting operations. Keeps engine room clean and orderly. Performs other duties as may be assigned by superiors.
