Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.

We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast.

How you'll help us achieve it

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you’ll plan and execute digital campaigns, while adapting ATL and BTL initiatives for digital channels. You’ll coordinate with key stakeholders, track and measure campaign performance, and work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to bring campaigns to life and drive meaningful impact.

In this role, you'll;

Own and plan Wave’s digital marketing content calendar, setting campaign direction and briefs aligned with business objectives.

Manage and execute digital campaigns end-to-end, from planning and briefing through to delivery and performance measurement.

Brief external agencies on campaign needs, collaborating closely with the Social Media Coordinator who manages the day-to-day agency content production.

Track, analyze, and report on overall digital KPIs and campaign performance across all channels (digital).

Coordinate with internal stakeholders across BTL, ATL, operations, and business teams to align on campaign needs and provide marketing support if needed.

Requirements

University degree or certificate in digital marketing, marketing communications, or a related field.

5+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing, including campaign development and delivery, KPIs and results tracking

Capable of developing creative briefs independently, and savvy with using self-serve digital tools (e.g. Canva, AI tools) to develop online content

Creative thinking to enrich monthly contents calendar, with excellent writing skills and ability to develop copy for digital content.

Proven track record in executing successful digital marketing campaigns and overall marketing campaigns.

Good marketing sensitivity, and experience in working on non-digital marketing campaigns, familiar with identifying target audience, objectives, and messaging development.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience working with agencies or briefing external agencies.

Fluent in French and English.
