Senior Procurement & Supply Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Leadership & Team Management

-Lead and manage the entire Purchasing Department. -Directly supervise the Purchasing Manager and purchasing personnel. -Establish clear responsibilities, KPIs, workflows and approval processes. -Develop the purchasing team from an operational purchasing function into a more strategic and analytical department. -Coach and develop team members while ensuring accuracy, accountability and timely execution. -Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, Logistics, Service and Management.

1. Domestic & International Procurement

-Manage both local and overseas purchasing. -Handle suppliers and manufacturers from multiple countries and regions. -Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ, lead time, warranty, spare parts support and other commercial conditions. -Manage purchase orders from planning through supplier confirmation, production and shipment. -Coordinate with logistics and import teams regarding shipping schedules and product arrivals. -Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers. -Identify alternative suppliers and manage supply-chain risks.

1. Demand Forecasting & Purchase Planning

-Analyze historical sales, current inventory, outstanding orders and sales forecasts. -Develop purchasing forecasts by SKU, brand and product category. -Determine appropriate reorder points, safety stock and purchasing quantities. -Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving and non-moving inventory. -Prevent both stock-outs and overstocking. -Analyze seasonality, sales trends, project pipelines and unusual demand. -Develop rolling purchasing forecasts such as 3-month, 6-month and 12-month projections. -Continuously compare forecast vs. actual sales vs. actual purchases and improve forecast accuracy.

1. Data Analytics & AI-Driven Procurement

-KitchenWorld is moving toward more data-driven and AI-supported management. The successful candidate must therefore be comfortable working with data and new technology.

1. Inventory & Working Capital Management

-Balance product availability against inventory investment. -Improve inventory turnover. -Reduce excess and obsolete stock. -Monitor inventory aging. -Recommend actions for slow-moving inventory. -Coordinate with Sales and Management regarding stock-clearing strategies when necessary. -Ensure purchasing decisions support healthy company cash flow and working capital.

1. Supplier Performance Management

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related field. Approximately 8–15+ years of relevant experience, with significant experience in procurement/purchasing leadership. Proven experience managing a purchasing/procurement team. Experience managing both domestic and overseas procurement. Strong preference for candidates from commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice equipment, hospitality equipment, appliances, machinery, electrical equipment, industrial equipment, distributors/importers or similar businesses. Strong understanding of international purchasing, supplier management, MOQ, lead times and inventory planning. Advanced Excel skills are essential. Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics tools is highly desirable. Comfortable adopting AI tools and new technology for analysis, forecasting and process improvement. Strong English communication skills for communication and negotiation with international suppliers. Strong negotiation, leadership and problem-solving skills. Good command of English
