Corporate Accounting Senior Associate with a Renowned Private Equity (PE) firm- 6 to 9 months contract starting early Jan 2027
Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA with 5 to 10 years of accounting experience Added exposure to the asset management/PE/financial services industry will be a plus (but not a must) Able to commit to a 6 to 9 months contract assignment starting around 5 Jan 2027 Our client is an established and highly regarded international private equity firm that is experiencing strong growth. It is now looking for a corporate accounting senior associate to work in a 6- 9 months contract role in the finance team starting in early Jan 2027 (for maternity coverage). This role is not likely to lead to a permanent role (unless there is natural attrition in the finance team). The role will report to an Associate Director, Finance. In addition to the core duties, the Finance & Operations team is also involved in firm-wide projects including systems improvement and implementation and product launches. Job Title Finance & Operations Senior Associate – Corporate Accounting, 6 to 9 months contract (starting around 5 Jan 2027)
Key Responsibilities
- Handle activities for the management company, including, but not limited to, payments, accounting, audit, tax
(local and GST), statutory, and budgeting
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and analysis for senior management’s review
- Support Group-level reporting matters, including consolidation, financial and management reporting, analysis and other ad-hoc Group reporting requirements.
- Handle the accounts receivable function including issuance of invoices and tracking of receipt
- Handle fixed assets function including tracking of asset cost in accounting system and reconciliation of
balances to general ledger
- Support treasury and banking matters, including cash management, payments and bank administration
- Work closely and coordinate with all business units and external parties to support the regular reporting
deliverables and deadlines
- Assist in preparation of periodic deliverables for compliance and ad hoc reporting to authorities
The candidate may also be involved in:
- Participate and provide inputs in new workflow and system implementation where required
- Participate in other work processes and ad-hoc tasks where required
- Initiate efficiency improvements to control enhancements
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA Equivalent with 5 to 10 years of accounting experience
- Added exposure to asset management/PE/financial service industry will be a plus (but not a must)
- Organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous and able to work independently with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Keen learner with positive attitude, motivated, flexibility to work in a small office environment
- Aptitude in standard computer software (including PowerPoint, Excel and Words)
- Oracle experience a nice-to-have
- Able to commit to a 6 to 9 months contract assignment starting around 5 Jan 2027
