The Heat Press Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining heat press equipment used to apply designs, logos, labels, and graphics to garments, promotional products, and other materials. This role ensures high-quality production, adherence to specifications, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Operate heat press machines according to production schedules and work orders.

Set up equipment, including temperature, pressure, and timing settings based on product specifications.

Apply transfers, vinyl, patches, labels, and other materials to apparel and products.

Inspect products before, during, and after pressing to ensure quality standards are met.

Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Monitor inventory of transfers, garments, and production supplies.

Maintain accurate production records and report defects or production concerns.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Assist with packaging, shipping, and other production-related tasks as needed.

Work collaboratively with production, quality, and supervisory teams to meet daily output goals.

What we are looking for:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch; occasionally required to sit, climb or balance.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move with assistance, up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds.

Prefer a minimum of six months’ experience in a warehouse environment; three months or more related experience and/or training requiring basic knowledge of company products.
