Activities Assistant-Part time

Responsibilities: Assist with daily activities and resident engagement throughout the community

Encourage residents to attend and participate in programs through room visits and friendly reminders

Provide support during group activities so residents feel included and successful

Lead simple small-group or one-on-one programs for residents who benefit from a more personalized approach

Work with the Activities Director and Nursing team to identify residents who may benefit from additional engagement

Support a positive, caring, and welcoming environment for residents

Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an Activities Assistant, Activity Aide, CNA, caregiver, or similar role in senior living, assisted living, or memory care is strongly preferred

Experience working with residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory loss, or other cognitive changes preferred

Dementia care certification preferred, such as Certified Dementia Practitioner, but not required

Patient, compassionate, dependable, and comfortable engaging residents one-on-one and in small groups

Ability to work well with the Activities Director, Nursing team, and other community staff

Shift Monday-Thursday 12:30 pm-5:30 pm and Friday 10:00 am -3PM
