SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER (Qualitätsingenieur/in)

Your Tasks

• Creation and processing of test plans, test files and test scripts according to software function specifications
• Statement of test results in the agile software development management tool “Jira” in English
• Setup and configuration of virtual machines containing Windows- and Macintosh-Systems as test platforms
• Setup and configuration of software and hardware simulators of digital print equipment
• Performing print tests out of various applications and operating digital printers.

Your Profile

• Good knowledge of operating PC and/or Macintosh systems
• Firm with commonly used desktop software and office applications (Microsoft365, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Good command of the English language
• Preferably IT specialist/technician or equal work experiences in the field of quality assurance of software products
• Preferably a working knowledge of network components, network protocols and client-server-systems
• Preferably a working knowledge of a commonly used scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python)
• Preferably with work experiences in the field of automated testing of software products
