Interim Head of Sales - Europe & International
12-Month Contract | Midlands
An international manufacturing business is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive performance across its European and international equipment sales operation. Reporting to the executive team, this hands-on interim role will focus on improving sales capability, strengthening commercial processes and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a multi-channel sales team.
- Improve sales performance, conversion rates and pipeline quality.
- Implement and embed a structured sales playbook.
- Establish CRM best practice and forecasting discipline using HubSpot.
- Support major customer opportunities, distributor relationships and international growth initiatives.
- Work closely with operational, engineering and leadership teams to drive commercial success.
About You
- Proven track record leading and improving B2B sales teams.
- Strong coaching and mentoring capability.
- Experience driving profitable growth through structured sales management.
- Hands-on CRM and pipeline management expertise, ideally HubSpot.
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, industrial products, technical sales or capital equipment environments.
- Comfortable operating in a visible, hands-on leadership role.
Contract Details
- 12-month interim assignment
- Competitive day rate
- Midlands-based with UK and international travel
- Significant on-site presence required, particularly during the initial phases of the assignment.
