Automation Developer

SENIOR DEVELOPER, QA AUTOMATION

Looking for a software development expert with a passion for quality, who believes in Agile development and Test-Driven Development. The candidate must be passionate about achieving robust software quality through automation and who believes in combining development and test automation into one.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in the software development industry
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with strong programming skills
• Strong experience with test automation
• Software quality mindset
• 3+ years of experience in back-end software development, including Cloud or on-premise enterprise software
• Hands-on experience in the Agile/Scrum development process
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Readiness to work in a global team with contributors from different backgrounds, skills and locations
• Bachelor’s degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or comparable relevant experience

Preferred Optional Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Java, with strong programming skills
• Experience with Test-Driven Development
• Experience with creating test plans and test strategies
• Experience with test tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Junit
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, PHP or shell scripts
• Expertise with Android, iOS or Windows development
• Expertise with web application development
• Experience with integrating mobile application software with cloud software
• Able to deal with ambiguity and change
• Experience in interacting with customers and work on customer premise
