Job purpose:

To implement RELEX's suite of systems and guide customers in their day - to - day use of RELEX solutions - as a single practitioner spanning business and solution delivery, amplified by AI tooling.

Travel:

Travel required, including interstate and international trips to support customers across ANZ and the wider APAC region, as well as for training, and occasionally to meet RELEX teams in other offices.

Role overview:

A Supply Chain Consultant is a hybrid delivery role for the next generation of AI-native RELEX implementations, supporting customers across ANZ and APAC. Where traditional projects need separate Business and Solution Consultants, this role combines both in a single senior practitioner - embedded alongside customer teams and enabled by AI-tooling fluency that accelerates delivery across both disciplines.

This is not a jack-of-all-trades role; it's a force multiplier. You'll bring genuine Business and Solution consulting depth plus the AI literacy to do in hours what once took a team of specialists days - performing business analysis at strategic, operational and organizational levels, owning the design and configuration of RELEX solutions end-to-end, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You'll also support the sales team through solution positioning, benefit analysis, RFIs and ROI cases.

This is an ideal role for an entrepreneurial individual who wants to help build a success story and play a key part in our growth. You'll join an ambitious team of smart people committed to RELEX's success - and RELEX does its very best to take good care of its people. Interstate and international travel is required to visit customers across ANZ and APAC, attend training, and occasionally meet RELEX teams in other offices.

What You'll Do:

Driving AI-accelerated delivery and building reusable capability. Tasks include:

Using AI tooling (e.g. Claude) and prompt engineering daily to accelerate documentation, analysis, configuration and stakeholder communications

Producing first-draft deliverables - Solution Design Documents, workshop outputs, config specs, test cases and customer comms - for expert review

Using AI to accelerate and deepen data and KPI analysis, surfacing insights faster

Building prompts, custom tools, agents and skills that automate repetitive tasks and extend what a single consultant can deliver

Codifying working patterns into reusable tools, playbooks and building blocks that lift the whole team's delivery, not just your own

Championing responsible, secure and accurate AI use - knowing when to trust AI output and when human judgement must lead

Sharing techniques, mentoring colleagues, and feeding learnings back into RELEX's AI tooling and delivery methodology

Owning end-to-end solution delivery across consultancy, data analysis and software implementation projects. Tasks include:

Attending or leading process development workshops

Analysing data and KPIs, and presenting findings and results to customers (both at operative and management level)

Owning the backbone of the Solution Design Document - process maps, UI workflow designs, data flows and configuration approaches

Configuring RELEX tools to customer specifications, accountable for build quality and operational robustness

Educating and training customers to use RELEX tools, and providing user support

Responsible for KPI tracking, ensuring the business case is met and system adoption is appropriate

Acting as a trusted advisor and managing customer engagement. Tasks include:

Communicating with client stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to C-suite, guiding decisions with precise, credible communication

Steering customers to proactively prevent escalations, and independently handling those that occur

Leading executive-level presentations, value assessments and solution workshops

Delivery ownership, collaborating with the customer project manager. Tasks include:

Contributing to the project plan, scope and change-request management

Creating and supporting a communication plan, including steering group meetings

Keeping all stakeholders informed, internally and externally

Escalating risks, issues and resource needs, and supporting proper governance and clean project closure

Identifying where genuine specialist escalation (Business / Solution) is needed - and handling everything else independently

Supporting the sales process as a solution / supply chain specialist. Tasks include:

Solution positioning and effort estimation

Benefit analysis and ROI cases

Contributing to RFIs and RFPs

Key requirements:

3+ years in supply chain / retail consulting, solution consulting, or SaaS implementation, with a track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder solution cycles

Hands-on depth in both business requirements analysis and solution configuration/design

Grocery / CPG / FMCG, General Merchandise, or Apparel / Fashion or supplier experience (merchandising, forecasting & replenishment, price optimization, space, execution)

AI fluency - everyday use of AI tooling and prompt engineering (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT), not a novelty

Business consulting (BC) - strong analysis across strategic, operational and organizational levels; turning objectives into requirements and outcomes

Solution consulting (SC) - turning requirements into scalable, robust designs, integrations and configurations, owning build quality

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding SCM systems from business and IT perspectives

Excellent presentation, storytelling and communication skills, including to executives

What we consider a strong plus:

STEM degree (BSc/MSc), or ~10 years in retail

Mentoring or coaching a solution / supply chain consulting team

Management consulting or value engineering / ROI-based selling background

Entrepreneurial, growth-minded attitude
