HR Shared Services Administrator
About the Role
Our client is seeking an organised and proactive HR Shared Services Administrator to join a busy and collaborative HR team based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering a high-quality service to employees and managers across the business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting HR operations, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with company policies and employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
- Manage administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, and offboarding.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries, providing professional and timely support.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Produce regular HR reports and management information using HR systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate and support new starter inductions and onboarding activities.
- Monitor probationary periods and liaise with managers regarding reviews and outcomes.
- Provide first-line guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
- Ensure all HR processes comply with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Support the wider HR team with projects and operational activities as required.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience within an HR Administration, HR Shared Services, or HR Support role.
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD accreditation is desirable.
- Experience using HR systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms would be advantageous.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience of working within FMCG would be ideal
