About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Production Operator to join our manufacturing team at our Ang Mo Kio facility. You will play a key role in day-to-day production operations, ensuring output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust production line equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform routine quality checks and in-process inspections, escalating deviations promptly
- Complete accurate production records and batch documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Carry out basic equipment troubleshooting, cleaning, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Follow GMP, workplace safety, and housekeeping (5S) requirements at all times
- Work collaboratively with QC, Engineering, and shift supervisors to meet production targets
- Support changeovers, line clearance, and material handling activities as required
Requirements
- Nitec/Higher Nitec in Manufacturing, Chemical Process Technology, Biomedical Science, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated production environment preferred
- Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends/public holidays where required
- Meticulous, safety-conscious, and comfortable following documented procedures
- Basic computer literacy for production data entry and reporting
- Team player with good communication skills
