Accounting Manager (Casa de Bolsa)

We are looking for a rigorous and experienced Accounting Manager to own the accounting function of Casa de Bolsa Plata , a new brokerage firm currently in its pre-operational phase, targeting CNBV licensing in the upcoming months and commencement of operations in December 2026.
This role goes beyond day-to-day bookkeeping, you will build the accounting infrastructure of the firm from scratch: chart of accounts, ERP setup, regulatory report templates, and audit frameworks. You will be the financial backbone of the institution and a key participant in the CNBV inspection process.

Challenges that await you:
Design and implement the firm's chart of accounts ( catálogo de cuentas ) in accordance with CNBV standards
Draft the accounting policies and procedures manual
Configure the ERP/accounting system and integrate it with trading and custody platforms
Prepare the opening balance sheet and capital adequacy analysis
Develop CNBV regulatory report templates (R01–R14 as applicable) prior to commencement of live submissions
Coordinate with external auditors on the annual audit framework
Support the CNBV commencement-of-operations inspection — financial records section
Once live: prepare monthly and annual financial statements ( NIF -compliant), submit regulatory reports via SITI , and ensure tax compliance before SAT (ISR, IVA, DIOT)
What makes you a great fit:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPC) strongly preferred
Minimum 7 years of experience at a regulated financial institution, preferably a casa de bolsa or bank with a brokerage division
Hands-on experience with CNBV regulatory reports and SITI submissions
Solid command of NIF (Normas de Información Financiera) and their application in financial institutions
Experience with SAT tax filings in a financial services context (ISR, IVA, DIOT, informative returns)
Prior experience building or overhauling accounting systems and procedures
English conversational level
Spanish conversational level
Nice to Have:
Experience joining an institution during its pre-operational or start-up phase
Familiarity with drafting or reviewing regulatory manuals for CNBV submission
AMIB certification (desirable but not required)
Experience supporting regulatory inspections by the CNBV
