Assistant Engineer

Job Summary

Work Location in Ang Mo Kio Department: Manufacturing Engineering Budget: $2,800-$3,500

Primary Job Purpose:

• Sustain and improve product Quality, Delivery and Cost
• Provide Product Failure Analysis for warranty, assembly plant returns and line pulls
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Participate in cost reduction initiatives
• Identify root causes of product problems correctly and timely.
• Analyze low test yield problems swiftly.
• Verify and analyses customer returns accurately & timely.
• Work with the people in other disciplines to resolve product problems.

Requirements

• Higher Nitec/ Nitec with 3 years’ relevant experience or Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Product failure analytical skills
• Experience in measurement and failure analysis equipment
• Problem solving skills
• Must be comfortable to perform rotating shift (Day and Night shift) and perform overtime when needed

Job Summary

• Stable organisation with more than 50 years in operation
• Location in Gul circle (with company transport provided from 4 MRT stations)
• Fixed pay component of close to $50K/ annum plus variable bonus plus yearly sales incentives payout
• 5 day week (Mon to Fri, 8.15AM-5.30PM)

Responsibilities

• 50% farming and 50% hunting
• Market the full range of Robotics and ride-on cleaning equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma Holders preferred
• Sales oriented and Customer centric
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ambitious, with a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Open to candidates with no prior sales experience but confident in stepping into a sales role
