CMM Programmer Job Description

Setting, operating and programming CMM equipment across a range of high-performance engineering products, using PC-DMIS software and/or Zeiss Calypso software to create and run inspection programmes. Carrying out general inspection duties using hand measuring equipment (vernier, shadowgraph, micrometres) Verifying supplier ISIR documentation including dimensional, material and process compliance checks Supporting Supplier Quality Assurance teams with supplier-related quality concerns and non-conforming products

CMM Programmer Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• Previous experience working within an inspection department environment
• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
• Knowledge of PC-DMIS and/or Zeiss Calypso
• Experience using hand measuring equipment including verniers, micrometres and shadowgraphs
