Infrastructure Ansible Automation Engineer _Contract

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) . The role will focus on automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, remediation, and self-healing workflows while supporting Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Collections, and Inventories to automate infrastructure and application operations.
• Manage and enhance Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) , including job templates, workflows, and execution environments.
• Build automated runbooks and self-healing solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
• Integrate automation into GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application, Cloud, and Cybersecurity teams to identify automation opportunities and reduce operational toil.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and runbooks while promoting automation and SRE best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Playbook development , including roles, collections, and inventories.
• Experience with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD pipelines .
• Basic understanding of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) .
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation / RHCE
• GitHub Actions or CI/CD Certification
• SRE Foundation / Practitioner
• ITIL v4 Foundation
