Job Description
- Maintain and optimise technology platforms to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and integrate new technologies.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to protect system integrity.
- Automate routine processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Document system configurations and provide technical support when necessary.
- Conduct regular system updates and patch management activities.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Platform Engineer should have:
- Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting technology platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment tools.
- Knowledge of security protocols and system hardening techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualisation technologies.
