*COOKS* - We are currently seeking a line Cook to grow our culinary team.

We have a professional kitchen that is reliant and fueled by motivated, hardworking individuals that have a passion for food. A good positive attitude is mandatory.

*Terms of Employment:* Full time (*must be available days,evenings & weekends*)

*Salary:* Starting wage is $17-$22 for first 3 months, increasing after 3 month review. Tips after 30 days.

*Start Date:* As soon as possible

*Status:* Canadian Citizen, Permanent resident, or valid work permit (minimum 1 year) required

*Experience:* Previous experience (*min. 1 year*) is required and culinary education is an asset.

*Education:* Completion of high school or previous work experience in a professional kitchen

*Credentials:* Red Seal certification or apprenticeship program (asset but not required)

*Essential Skills:* Speak English, Read English, Write English, Reading text, Numeracy,

*Weight Handling:* Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

*Transportation:* Public transportation is available but having a vehicle is an asset.

Job Duties:

• Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
