Line Operator (Sewing) - 1st Shift
Compensation: $15/Hr
Job Summary:
Responsible for efficient operation of the flex shield area, continuous production & inspection on production line. Primary responsibility will be operation of production line machinery. Meet production rates & improvement targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manufacturing sewing experience is required.
Clearly understand operating and maintaining sewing machines (long arm, overlock, binding, etc.)
Understand patterns and how to incorporate any pattern into a finished product.
Responsible for prototypes, and any trials needed within the area.
Must be able to perform in a team environment.
Must be able to perform multiple task ‘s to meet department goals.
Responsible for all 6S in the area
Practice safe work habits at all times
Required Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities for Consideration as a Candidate:
High school graduate or GED required
Possess good communication skills
Must be able to use measurement devices
Must be able to read and write
Must possess good math skills
Must pass pre-employment drug screen & background and reference checks
Line experience – Sewing experience required
