Title: Sr. Specialist, Accounting
Location: Queen Creek, AZ
Responsibilities:
Internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
Preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
Production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
Tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return
Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit
Present recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
Conduct thorough and timely Financial Audits
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce or related field
Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
Experience:
7+ years of accounting/finance experience
Experience working at a large company preferred
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
Skills:
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
MS Office Suite and ERP systems
Management and supervisory skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Collaboration skills
