Key responsibilities

Develop QHSSE strategy, governance, compliance frameworks, risk management approaches, performance analysis, and drive program improvement initiatives in major energy and pipeline operations.

Lead the completion of a 3-year QHSSE strategy and roadmap within specified timelines.

Deliver improvements to governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and organizational structures.

Enhance benchmark scores through effective implementation of audit recommendations and external assessments.

Reduce the number of compliance gaps by implementing robust control measures.

Oversee the refresh of the enterprise QHSSE risk register and ensure alignment of mitigation plans.

Provide high-quality and timely risk analysis, dashboard reporting, and updates to leadership.

Draft high-level policies, procedures, and governance documents for leadership approval.

Develop and monitor the execution of risk mitigation plans with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

12 - 15+ years of experience in QHSSE roles within the oil & gas, energy, or pipeline sectors.

Proven track record in strategy development, risk management, and governance.

Strong skills in analytics, performance management, and executive advisory support.

Significant exposure to delivering QHSSE frameworks, compliance initiatives, and improvement programs.
