Accountabilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Identity Governance engineers, establishing a strong culture of technical excellence, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Define the technical strategy, architecture, engineering standards, and roadmap for enterprise Identity Governance and Administration services.

Lead the architecture, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operation of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.

Oversee core identity governance capabilities, including identity lifecycle management, access requests, certifications, provisioning, role-based controls, and policy workflows.

Guide the migration of legacy identity governance platforms and processes toward modern cloud-based identity governance capabilities.

Establish and evolve governance frameworks for non-human identities, including service accounts, machine identities, cloud service principals, bots, and other automated identities.

Expand identity automation through APIs, custom connectors, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.

Partner with security, architecture, cloud, application, compliance, and business leaders to support application onboarding, cloud transformation, regulatory requirements, and identity security initiatives.

Drive effective integration of identity governance capabilities across enterprise applications and technology environments.

Communicate technical strategy, delivery progress, risks, priorities, and operational outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Establish engineering practices that improve reliability, scalability, security, maintainability, and operational efficiency across identity governance services.

Support Agile delivery practices and ensure engineering initiatives are delivered with appropriate quality, documentation, testing, and governance.

Requirements

8+ years of professional experience in Identity and Access Management, Identity Governance, or a closely related engineering discipline.

5+ years of experience leading software engineering or identity engineering teams, with demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and manage complex initiatives.

Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and operating SailPoint Identity Security Cloud in an enterprise environment.

Proven experience leading enterprise SailPoint implementations from architecture and design through deployment, optimization, and production support.

Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access certifications, provisioning, RBAC, ABAC, access requests, and identity governance workflows.

Experience developing and managing identity integrations using APIs, connectors, automation frameworks, and enterprise systems.

Experience with Agile software delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code, and modern engineering practices.

Understanding of governance requirements for both human and non-human identities across enterprise and cloud environments.

Strong technical architecture and problem-solving abilities, with the judgment to balance security, scalability, operational efficiency, and business requirements.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex identity and security concepts to senior executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to establish technical strategy, influence cross-functional teams, and drive organizational change.

Strong leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment while managing priorities across geographically distributed teams.
