Operations Specialist Physician/APP Leadership Development and Wellbeing

Accountabilities: The Operations Specialist will lead operational initiatives and provide structured project oversight to ensure successful execution of strategic programs. This role requires strong organizational skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to manage complex initiatives from planning through completion.

Lead operational initiatives and cross-functional project teams focused on organizational priorities and continuous improvement.

Oversee the successful delivery of complex initiatives while managing timelines, budgets, risks, and project requirements.

Manage ongoing programs and operational activities that support leadership development and organizational effectiveness.

Partner with executive sponsors and key stakeholders to align initiatives with strategic goals and business priorities.

Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budget considerations.

Drive clear operational and organizational communication across assigned initiatives and programs.

Support process improvement efforts, including quality improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

Provide visibility into project progress, challenges, and outcomes through effective reporting and stakeholder updates.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare operations or project management professional with the ability to lead strategic initiatives, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and improve organizational processes. Strong analytical thinking, communication, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, operations management, or process improvement roles.

Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.

Demonstrated experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Strong understanding of project planning, execution, budgeting, and performance tracking.

Experience supporting quality improvement, operational efficiency, or cost reduction initiatives preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work effectively with executive-level leaders and cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
