Accountabilities: As a Lead Technical Architect – Salesforce Platform, you will provide architecture leadership, technical guidance, and governance across a complex Salesforce environment. You will balance strategic planning with hands-on expertise to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Define and maintain the Salesforce technical roadmap, architecture vision, and platform evolution strategy.

Provide hands-on technical leadership across Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing capabilities, integrations, automation, reporting, and platform enhancements.

Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce architectures across configuration, Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, data models, security, and integrations.

Establish and govern Salesforce architecture standards, design patterns, documentation practices, naming conventions, and development guidelines.

Review technical designs, evaluate solution approaches, and ensure implementations are maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Guide Salesforce administrators, developers, consultants, vendors, and distributed delivery teams through technical decisions and best practices.

Design and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and integration platforms.

Strengthen DevOps and release management practices through improved deployment processes, environment management, and change governance.

Identify technical debt, platform risks, and modernization opportunities while helping prioritize improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, delivery leaders, and QA teams to support predictable and high-quality solution delivery.

Mentor technical teams and promote continuous improvement across Salesforce development and architecture practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive Salesforce architecture experience, strong technical depth, and the ability to communicate complex solutions to both technical and business audiences. You should be comfortable leading enterprise initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and driving platform excellence.

Significant experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect, Lead Salesforce Architect, or similar senior Salesforce architecture role within complex enterprise environments.

Strong expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related capabilities.

Proven experience designing Salesforce solutions involving configuration, automation, Apex, Lightning Web Components, data architecture, security, reporting, and integrations.

Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, including sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, roles, data quality, and platform performance considerations.

Experience defining Salesforce governance frameworks, technical standards, and architecture best practices.

Experience guiding administrators, developers, consultants, and external delivery partners.

Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices, release management, deployment tools, and SDLC governance.

Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications through APIs, middleware, or event-driven integration patterns.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs in business terms.

Ability to identify risks, manage technical debt, and support platform modernization efforts.

Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, Platform Developer, or Salesforce Consultant certifications are a plus.

Experience with tools and technologies such as Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Data Cloud, Tableau, Agentforce, MuleSoft, Copado, Gearset, Flosum, Azure DevOps, or Jira is beneficial.

Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, or enterprise environments is preferred.
