ICAM Engineer – IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG)

Accountabilities: Gather and analyze requirements with stakeholders to understand identity governance needs and business objectives.

Lead and participate in use case discussions, translating functional requirements into effective technical solutions.

Support solution design, configuration, testing, and validation activities for IBM Security Verify Governance implementations.

Design, configure, and maintain ISVG components, including operational workflows, identity lifecycle rules, roles, entitlements, provisioning policies, adoption policies, password policies, and identity policies.

Configure and manage ISVG security models, including Access Control Instructions (ACIs), groups, and role-based access controls.

Develop and maintain forms, approval flows, and governance processes to support secure identity management.

Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve identity governance solutions.

Contribute to the analysis, design, and development of custom ISVG adapters for mission partners and external systems when required.

Support testing activities by creating test plans, validating configurations, and ensuring solutions meet security and operational requirements.

Apply identity governance best practices to improve security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in identity and access management, identity governance, or related security engineering roles.

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG).

Solid understanding of ICAM/IAM concepts, identity lifecycle management, workflows, provisioning models, and access governance.

Experience designing and configuring identity governance solutions, including roles, entitlements, policies, and approval processes.

Knowledge of ISVG security concepts, including ACIs, groups, and role-based access controls.

Experience working in secure, regulated, or enterprise environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Excellent communication skills for stakeholder discussions, requirements gathering, and technical collaboration.

Experience supporting or developing custom ISVG adapters is a plus.

Familiarity with identity governance best practices in large-scale enterprise environments is preferred.
