You will inspire students through literature, language and culture, helping them become confident communicators, critical thinkers and internationally minded learners.This role is ideal for an educator who combines strong subject expertise with engaging pedagogy and a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence. What you will do:* Teach Language \& Literature within the IB framework, particularly DP courses* Prepare students for Internal Assessments and IB examinations* Design engaging and differentiated units centred on literature, language and critical thinking* Assess, track and report student progress in line with IB and ICS expectations* Support students’ social and emotional wellbeing as a teacher and tutor* Collaborate within the Language \& Literature Department and wider Senior School team* Contribute to interdisciplinary learning, co\-curricular activities and school life* Potentially teach Language Acquisition classes* Tutor (homeroom) expectations may be part of this role* Use technology meaningfully to enhance teaching and learning What you bring :* Degree in , Literature or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification* Proven experience teaching Language \& Literature at Secondary level* Experience with IB Diploma Programme and/or MYP preferred* Strong understanding of language learning pedagogy* Minimum 4 years of recent and relevant Secondary School teaching experience* Nice to have the EDK recognition* Experience in an international school environment is an advantage* Excellent English communication skills* Strong classroom management and organisational skills* Experience supporting learners with diverse needs* Reflective, collaborative and student\-centred approach* Passion for literature, language and intercultural learning Our Values:At ICS we are Humble, Welcoming, Committed, Resilient.
