Planning Engineer
Guildhall is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background in civil and marine construction projects to join a dynamic project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, supporting project controls, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Perform critical path analysis and recommend recovery plans where required.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate planning and reporting.
- Monitor project performance against the approved baseline programme.
- Support resource planning, progress measurement, and project controls.
- Prepare look-ahead programmes and recovery schedules.
- Ensure planning activities comply with project objectives and contractual requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects, including buildings, infrastructure, marine, breakwater, or beach development works.
- 2–5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, including programme development, updating, progress monitoring, resource loading, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, work sequencing, critical path analysis, and project controls.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with project, engineering, and site teams.
