Lead Sourcing - Leader Biotech Chemicals

Looking for a challenging job in a highly professional organization where you can make a difference? We need an experienced Sourcing Leader to join our team responsible for strategic sourcing of Biotech Chemicals, supporting our manufacturing sites.

Essential Responsibilities :

The Sourcing Leader is assigned a portfolio of suppliers and has the responsibility for development, communication and execution of sourcing strategies, both short and long term. We are focused on cost efficient supply, while at the same time having high demands on security of supply and quality. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, like Manufacturing, R&D and Product Management, the Sourcing Leader participates in New Product Introduction projects as well as activities related to quality and fulfilment. Together with Supplier Quality organization, continuous monitoring and development of suppliers is performed, all in order to meet business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree in business administration Some years work experience with technical depth/knowledge in assigned commodities, or some years of Commercial Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering experience Willing to travel domestically and internationally ocassionally
