Primary responsibilities: Provide engineering design for roadway/transportation related projects

Complete feasibility studies and technical design reports

Coordinate roadway design project plans with associated utilities

Assist in the planning, design, and construction administration of projects

Work closely with relevant permitting agencies

Demonstrate eagerness to learn new areas of engineering

Prepare proposals and development of scope, schedule, and budget

Serve as client contact

Develop project management and team leadership capabilities

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification

3+ years experience using MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D software for design and drafting tasks

Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) License in South Carolina

5+ years of experience planning, designing, and constructing public utility projects

Experience with direct client contact and project management
