Network Optimization Officer

Job description

Use analytical and data mining techniques to support the network optimization unit in revenue maximizing opportunities. Develop and document implemented actions by network optimization and revenue management teams.

Support the development and execution of the strategies developed by the network optimization teams.

Summarize, visualize results and highlight insights and opportunities.

Document all ad-hoc and structural changes and measure revenue results for all network capacity changes.

Review network constrained and unconstrained demand from PROS and propose capacity shifts.

Monitor the build on new frequencies and routes and update the network team.

Coordinate internally to obtain capacity restrictions and ensure RMS is updated on a timely basis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics or business administration.

Three years working experience in a complex numerate and analytical environment; experience within the airline industry preferred.

Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and query tools including at least two of the following: SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau.

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with solid experience in business analysis, and at least two of the following: segmentation, regression analysis, clustering, forecasting, web analytics.
