Senior Business Analyst

A leading organization in the retail sector is undergoing a large-scale transformation of its reporting landscape, moving from legacy BI tools toward a modern data warehouse and Power BI ecosystem.

The role focuses on analysing and rationalizing existing reports while supporting the design of future-state reporting aligned with business and data strategy.

Profile

• Analyze and document existing reporting landscape and usage
• Evaluate and rationalize reports based on business relevance and usage

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to validate reporting needs
• Gather requirements and support design of future Power BI reports

• Collaborate with data and technical teams on:

o Data lineage

o Data models

o Reporting structures

• Support planning, estimation, and documentation activities
• Ensure alignment with governance and metadata standards

Required Skills & Expertise

Must Have

• Strong experience as Business Analyst in retail environment
• Experience with data warehouse and BI/reporting ecosystems

• Exposure to report rationalization or BI transformation programs
• Understanding of data, KPIs, and reporting logic

• Experience working with business stakeholders and workshops
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP BO and Power BI
• Exposure to metadata and data governance tools

• Knowledge of data modeling concepts
