The E-Space Manufacturing team builds the world's most advanced aerospace products at high rate and high precision.
What you'll be doing:
Fabricate composite parts and assemblies following work instructions and specifications
Perform dimensional, visual, and physical inspection of composite components; accurately record and document results
Prepare test specimens and support material and process testing activities
Conduct routine tooling and fixture maintenance; flag condition issues to engineering
Follow established SOPs and work instructions; provide feedback to improve process documentation
Assist engineers with process development trials and non-conformance investigations
What you will bring to this role:
0-2 years of hands-on experience in composites, manufacturing, fabrication, or a related technical field
Familiarity with composite materials (thermoplastic or thermoset) preferred; strong willingness to learn required
Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and written work instructions
Basic mechanical aptitude; comfortable with hand tools and shop equipment
Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Extra points for the following:
Experience with dimensional or optical inspection tools
Exposure to thermoplastic composite materials or continuous fiber processes
Machine shop experience (lathe, milling, or CNC)
Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement concepts
