Senior Back-end Developer (Node.js, React)

E-commerce agency DigiFist is looking for a Senior Back-end Developer that specializes in Node.js, React, API integrations and headless websites.

We offer our customers technical support and strategic advice as well as a complete acquisition and management of their e-commerce strategy, performance marketing & data. Our customers are active D2C. We also design and develop official Shopify themes and Shopify Apps for merchants worldwide.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new features and functionality for apps and work on new products
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Ensure that the website is optimized for performance and security
• Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly layouts
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, insatiable curiosity, and an analytical mindset. Also the ideal candidate will have extensive experience with systems integrations, Node.js & React and should be comfortable working independently as well as with a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent degree
• Proven 3+ years of experience in back-end development
• Proficiency in Node.js & React and or Laravel
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with server-side rendering and client-side rendering
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in an agile development environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to communicate effectively with geographically remote team members
• Fluent in English
