About The Role We have partnered with a top fast growing Tech start-up on a mission to develop innovative and affordable solutions that enhances the human experience. Being a start-up means you will be part of a ‘get-stuff-done’ environment where everyone is focused on creating user value. This means you’ll play a big role in helping define the technologies and practices used. You will not be a cog in a big wheel and your efforts will have a visible impact in the world. You will not be silo-ed on solving small problems but rather work on things that matter. For this role, we are looking for a highly engaged full-stack engineer with a strong passion for back-end technologies that loves the start-up phase of a company. You should ideally know your way around modern backend tech across different technology stacks. You also believe in LEAN engineering methodologies and love to follow best practices whilst continuously shipping high-quality code.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Software architecture and development for new greenfield platforms
• Implement new user centric functionality and improve existing features
• Driving innovation by coming up with new and surprising ideas
• Providing feedback and constructive criticism to improve design, usability and interaction
• Promote software design standards & instilling best practices in our team
• Participating in our Agile development process

These are some of the technologies we use today. Being a start-up working on a couple of greenfield projects this is likely to change. We believe in using the right tool for the job that enables us to deliver measurable user value quickly.

What We’re Looking For

• Senior full stack engineer with more than +3 years of professional experience
• Advanced knowledge level on at least one of the mainstream server side dynamic programming languages: Javascript/Typescript (via node.js), PHP, or Python.
• Passion for back-end craft by adhering with API semantic standards and creating great developer experiences by working together with our front-end leaning engineers.
• Someone that is open, keen to learn various technology stacks and a fan of using the best “tool for the job”.
• Good understanding of node frameworks like nestjs, expressjs etc...
• Familiar with software development best practices, principles and methodologies like SOLID, Test Driven Development, twelve-factor app etc...
