Licensed Dental Assistant (CDA) We are looking for a motivated and caring Licensed Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our busy and growing dental practice. Your tasks
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures -restorations, root canal treatment, oral surgeries, implants and crowns.
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and operatories
- Taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos
- Educating patients on post-operative care
- Maintaining accurate clinical records-completing dental clinical notes
- Ensuring a clean and organized clinical environment
- Providing excellent patient care and helping patients feel comfortable during treatment
- Able to place an excellent double rubber dam
Requirements
- Certified Dental Assistant license required
- 1?2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Experience with dental software is an asset
- Dental assisting: 1 year (required)
