Purpose
The role requires a structured and execution-focused professional who will govern and oversee logistics, expediting and third-party inspection activities carried out by the PMC contractor. The position is central to ensuring full visibility and control of material and equipment flow from suppliers to site, supporting schedule adherence and construction readiness. The role will be instrumental in establishing robust logistics and expediting processes and ensuring alignment with SAP and project systems in preparation for operations.
*This is a 24 month contract role, full time.
Scope & Accountability
Act as single point of contact toward the PMC for logistics, expediting and third-party inspections
Follow approved Blue Moon policies, processes & procedures
Govern and follow up PMC execution including logistics providers and inspection agencies
Maintain full overview of inspection status, shipment readiness and delivery tracking
Track location and delivery status of all critical equipment and materials
Monitor planned vs actual delivery dates and ensure timely site delivery
Review and challenge PMC logistics and expediting plans and mitigation actions
Identify risks on long-lead and critical items and ensure early escalation
Coordinate interfaces between Purchasing, Contract Managers, Warehouse, and Construction teams
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of logistics, inspection and delivery status
Support SAP and digital tracking tools for logistics and delivery visibility
Ensure compliance with contractual, HSE, customs and project requirements
Submit logistics and expediting reports as defined by the company.
Authorities
Own and enforce logistics, expediting and inspection processes and standards
Challenge and direct PMC priorities related to deliveries, inspections and transport execution
Escalate and mitigate risks impacting delivery schedules, cost or quality
Stop or reject shipments, inspections or logistics activities that do not meet project or compliance requirements
Approve logistics priorities and expediting focus for critical and long-lead items
Ensure integrity and governance of logistics and tracking data in SAP and related systems
Initiate corrective actions with PMC, suppliers and logistics providers
Recommend changes to logistics strategies, transport solutions and inspection approaches
Drive performance follow-up of PMC logistics and inspection execution
Approve deviations from logistics and expediting procedures within authority limits.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years related experience in supply chain, procurement and logistics.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
