Automobile Technician

Responsibilities:

Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repairs on assigned equipment, vehicles, or systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and technical faults. Perform testing and functional checks after repairs or maintenance activities. Support the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of vehicles to ensure they meet required quality and operational standards before delivery. Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and related systems, where applicable. Use appropriate tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals when carrying out repairs and inspections. Identify defective components and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and technical issues.

Requirements:

OND or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. 2–5 years of relevant hands-on technical experience. Practical knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems. Experience in automobile maintenance, PDI, workshop operations, equipment maintenance, or EVs IS A MUST. Ability to use basic diagnostic and technical tools. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, manuals, or wiring diagrams.
