Social Media Manager (Web3) — Internship → Full-Time Pathway*Africa Web3 Institute The future is being written on-chain. Africa won’t just participate—we’ll define the narrative. Africa Web3 Institute is looking for a Social Media Manager with a foundational understanding of Web3, blockchain, and digital assets to help shape and amplify our voice across the continent and beyond. This is a 3-month internship with a pathway to full-time employment for high performers. What You’ll Do**

Your tasks

• Manage and grow our presence across X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms
• Translate complex Web3, policy, and innovation topics into clear, engaging content
• Design and execute content calendars aligned with events, research, and campaigns
• Cover live events, workshops, and ecosystem moments in real time
• Engage with our community — builders, policymakers, founders, and students
• Track performance metrics and iterate content strategy

Requirements

What You Should Have

• Basic understanding of Web3, blockchain, crypto, or digital finance
• Strong writing and content storytelling skills
• Familiarity with social media tools (scheduling, analytics, design tools like Canva/Figma)
• Ability to move fast, think independently, and stay culturally relevant
• Bonus: Experience in Web3 communities, meme culture, or content virality mechanics
