Z?gamok Mining is recruiting a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician.
The Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician will be responsible for performing repairs, troubleshooting, adjusting, overhauling and maintaining mobile heavy-duty equipment on various job sites.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
- Able to complete Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Services on mobile equipment in a scheduled timeframe
- Responsible for diagnosing technical or mechanical problems and performing repairs on a variety of Underground and Surface mobile equipment
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
- Complete work order forms and other required documentation for assigned jobs
- Maintain communication and providing updates as needed
- Actively communicate with the purchasing department to ensure required parts are ordered, including tracking orders and following up when required
- Maintain organized and tidy work environment including required tools for the job
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
*Qualifications*
- Valid Class G Driver?s License
- Certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A), Truck and Coach Technician (310T) or Automotive Service Technician (310S)
- Minimum 3 years of recent, relevant experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and organized
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Self motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
